Whether you’re a distance learning student or need to video conference for work, having a working camera on your Chromebook is critical. Here are a few troubleshooting tips if you’re having trouble with your computer’s camera:

1. Turn your Chromebook off for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.
2. Check to see if the camera works in another application on your Chromebook. If it does, uninstall and reinstall the application where it is not working.
3. Try resetting your Chromebook or using the Chromebook recovery utility.
