Sometimes your Chrome browser runs into an error when you’re surfing the internet and you get an “Aw, Snap!” page. Check out the descriptions below to find out what went wrong with your internet request.
- ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED means the website address that you are trying to visit doesn’t exist. If you get this error, double-check that you typed in the correct website address to visit.
- ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED simply means that your device is not connected to the internet. To fix this error, make sure that your wifi is turned on and that your router is plugged in and turned on as well.
- ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT or ERR_TIMED_OUT means that the page request took too long to resolve. This can happen because of a slow internet connection or if the website server is busy, Move to a location with better WiFI and try the request again.
- ERR_CONNECTION_RESET your connection to the page request was interrupted for some reason. Refresh the page to make the request again.
- ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED means that your device’s internet connection was lost during the request, or that it changed to a new network during the request.
- ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED For whatever reason the page server wouldn’t let Chrome connect. Try refreshing the page to see if it will resolve the error or try again in a few minutes.
